The Leadership Challenge No One Talks About
It was my pleasure to be a guest on The Abundant Culture podcast hosted by Jasmine and Joseph.
If you do not know their story, the two met while serving in the military and soon married. After leaving the military, they struggled to find work. An unfortunate storyline that plays out for so many of our veterans who sacrifice so much for us.
They decided to start a business, and after a great deal of hard work and tough times, they have become successful.
The Abundant Culture podcast was started as a way for Jasmine and Joseph to return some of their blessings to others.
One of the topics we cover in the podcast is how a leader should handle an employee who does not want time off or help with dealing with their emotionally traumatic event because they feel working is the best thing for them.
We also talk about what Adaptive Leadership means and how a leader should engage to help an emotionally traumatized employee excel at work.
I hope you enjoy listening to the interview as much as I enjoyed being their guest.
