Respect For People Series: Conversations Leaders Aren’t Having

Right now, 1 in 4 people is grieving due to an emotionally traumatic event that has significantly altered their sense of reality.

They are waking up this morning dreading going to work, leaving leaders struggling with the challenge of leading them in a way that helps them excel at work while they deal with their struggle.

This challenge costs US companies $75-$100 billion a year in lost productivity through absenteeism, safety performance, costly errors, lack of performance, reduced engagement, and retention issues.

Sadly, there is little to no training available to leaders faced with this challenge.

GriefLeadersTM is changing this through our book, The Dying Art of Leadership, and our leadership training programs.

Additionally, we have teamed up with our good friend and colleague, Mark DeLuzio, and Lean Horizons, to offer a monthly Respect For People webinar series.  These sessions are available at no cost on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

This video is the recording of the first session where we defined the problem and discussed the characteristics of a true Respect For People culture.

We hope you will join us for our next session on June 23, 2021, at 11:00 am EST, when we discuss Emotional Safety in the workplace.
