Grief Is Always The Elephant In The Room
This scene could just as easily play out in a workplace break room as in a kitchen at home.
Whether caused by a personal tragedy, news of losing a job, or other company change initiatives, 𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢.
As a society, we struggle with these situations because they are awkward, uncomfortable, and emotional.
The situation is compounded for leaders as there is no training, at least until now, on how to deal with these situations.
Clearly, Peter and Brian have not been through our 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀™ training.
If they had, they would know how to deal with this situation.
