Adaptive Leadership™: The Key To Respect For People And Creating An Emotionally Safe Culture
In this video, 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀™ co-founder, Anthony Casablanca, discusses the details of the 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱™ model from the book, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥.
This session was the third in the 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 series. A series sponsored by Mark DeLuzio, founder of Lean Horizons Consulting, and architect of the Danaher Business System.
The series focuses on the principles from the book which is co-authored by Anthony and his brother Guy. The same principles they teach in their 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀™ training programs.
In the first 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 session, Anthony and Mark discussed the leadership elements required to demonstrate a genuine 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 culture. The pinnacle of which is leadership and team vulnerability.
In the second session, the two discussed how to build on that vulnerability to ensure the team or organization has an emotionally/psychologically safe operating environment.
In this third session, Mark and Anthony discuss the principles of 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱™ and how instilling this leadership approach ensures a leader is properly supporting their people. Additionally, how utilizing these principles paves the way to generate results even when an individual, or an entire team, is dealing with emotional turmoil, trauma, and grief.
